Terms and Conditions

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this platform. If you are under 18, you must have consent from your parents or legal guardians.

2.2 User Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
• You may not share your account with third parties
• You must immediately notify any unauthorized use of your account

2.3 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Platform in a way that violates local, national, or international laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without authorization
• Share or resell Platform content without permission

3.1 CertAITutor Content

All Platform content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, exam questions, explanations, code, and software, is owned by CertAITutor or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

3.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal and educational use. This license does not include:

• Resale or commercial use of content
• Distribution, public transmission, or modification of content
• Use of data mining, robots, or data collection tools

3.3 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit to the Platform. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with Platform operation.

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer 4 subscription plans:

• FREE: 20 demo questions per certification, no AI Tutor access
• SINGLE CERT: €24.99 one-time payment for 90-day access to one certification
• PRO: €19.99/month for 2 active certifications with unlimited switching
• ALL ACCESS: €34.99/month or €249/year for all certifications

4.2 AI Tutor Usage Limits

AI Tutor features are subject to the following monthly usage limits based on your plan:

• FREE: No AI Tutor access
• SINGLE CERT: 200 AI Tutor messages per month
• PRO: 500 AI Tutor messages per month
• ALL ACCESS: Unlimited AI Tutor messages

Usage limits reset monthly on your subscription anniversary date. Unused messages do not roll over to the next month. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with 30 days prior notice.

4.3 License Duration and Renewal

SINGLE CERT licenses: Valid for 90 days from purchase date. After expiration:

• You can renew for another 90 days at the current price
• You can upgrade to PRO or ALL ACCESS for ongoing access
• You can continue with FREE tier (20 demo questions)
• Your progress and history are always preserved

PRO and ALL ACCESS subscriptions: Automatically renew monthly or annually until cancelled.

4.4 PRO Tier Certification Switching

PRO tier users can have 2 certifications active at any time and switch between certifications unlimited times with no cooldown period. Progress is preserved when switching. Non-active certifications remain accessible with FREE tier limits (20 demo questions).

4.5 Billing

• SINGLE CERT: One-time payment, no recurring charges
• PRO and ALL ACCESS: Billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days prior notice
• No refunds for partial periods on subscriptions

4.6 Cancellation

You can cancel PRO or ALL ACCESS subscriptions at any time through Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period.

• PRO users: If you have active SINGLE CERT licenses, you'll retain access to those certifications
• ALL ACCESS users: Access continues until the end of the paid period
• After cancellation, you can continue with FREE tier or any active SINGLE CERT licenses

4.7 Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund policy for all paid plans, subject to usage conditions:

• 100% refund: If you've used fewer than 10 AI interactions
• 50% refund: If you've used between 10-30 AI interactions
• No refund: If you've used more than 30 AI interactions or the purchase/subscription has been active for more than 7 days

AI interactions include: AI Tutor messages, inline tutor explanations (all 4 modes), misconception analysis, and other AI-powered features. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase. After this period, no refunds are provided except where required by law.

5.1 Educational Content

CertAITutor provides certification exam preparation materials. We do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam. Success depends on multiple factors including your dedication, prior knowledge, and preparation.

5.2 Content Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee that all content is completely accurate, complete, or current. Practice questions are simulations and may not exactly reflect official exam content.

5.3 Service Availability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be available uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or modify the service at any time without prior notice.
